USNR’s global headquarters started out as Schurman Machine, a small machine shop founded in 1934 by Clyde Schurman in Woodland, Washington. Over the years the Woodland machine shop developed a solid reputation manufacturing high-quality edgers, gangs, planers, and chippers. It also developed an expertise in manual and optimized infeed systems for primary and secondary breakdown machine centers. Today, the Woodland facility focuses on wood processing systems with a dedicated team of experienced engineers, machinists, and fabricators. The corporate office and manufacturing facility are located a short distance north of Portland, Oregon.
